Jerusalem, 15 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar has nominated Attorney Pnina Yanai as Israel’s ambassador to Greece. In his letter, FM Saar explained that the intention to appoint Ms Yanai as Israel’s ambassador to Greece stems from a variety of considerations relating to her abilities and skills, including her interpersonal skills, her ability to appear before audiences and the media, and her ability to express herself—an essential dimension for the success of Israeli ambassadors at this time.

Ms. Yanai is a well-known and veteran lawyer and jurist with extensive and varied managerial, media, and public relations experience.
