Jerusalem, 18 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — It has been announced by the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the Rafah crossing will remain closed until further notice. The PM’s office announced the decision, noting that the crossing’s reopening rests on Hamas’ fulfilment of its obligations regarding the return of hostages and the implementation of the agreed framework.

Earlier, the Palestinian Authority Representation in Egypt had announced that the crossing would reopen on Monday.
