US CENTCOM Chief Admiral Brad Cooper completes first visit to Israel, discusses operational cooperation with IDF and regional stability.

Jerusalem, 6 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), Admiral Brad Cooper, completed his first visit to Israel for talks with Israeli military leaders.

Cooper held an operational situation assessment led by Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir.

“The visit dealt with operational cooperation between the IDF and the US military, maintaining regional stability in near and far arenas, and jointly confronting challenges and threats in the region,” the IDF said.

In addition, Admiral Cooper visited the communities surrounding Gaza.
