Jerusalem, 11 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Tel Aviv District Committee approved a huge urban renewal plan for the area. The plan includes 2,337 housing units, 1,600 square meters for commercial and employment space, 7 acres for public buildings that will be used for a school, kindergartens and dormitories, and synagogues, and 8 acres of open space.
Of the total housing units, 350 will be allocated as small apartments, and 100 units will be designated for rental.
The plan emphasizes a high-quality public space that includes a continuous walking network from the center of the community to the green belt in the east and, in the future, to the metro station in Ariel Sharon Park.
