Jerusalem, 5 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara Netanyahu met last night (Monday, August 4) with the speaker of the United States House of Representatives Mike Johnson (Republican, Louisiana) and his wife Kelly Lary, in the community of Shilo in Samaria.
The Prime Minister and his wife were invited to a joint dinner attended by the US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee and his wife; the members of Congress Michael McCaul, Claudia Tenney, Michael Cloud and Nathaniel Moran; and Yesha (Judea and Samaria) Council chairman and head of Binyamin Regional Council (located just north of Jerusalem) Israel Ganz.
In addition, during the event Netanyahu and his wife met with Ditza Or, the mother of the Israeli hostage held in Gaza Avinatan Or.
