Israel issues mandatory boil-water notice for numerous communities in Megiddo, Jezreel Valley, and Gilboa councils due to quality concerns.

The communities where water must be boiled are: Midrach Oz, Megiddo, Megiddo Prison, Tel Megiddo, Orkhan Megiddo, Dor Alon Megiddo, Givat Oz, HaYogev, Paz HaYogev Station, Kfar Baruch, Megiddo Airfield including Cheminir, Meleah, Nir Yafe, Gadish, Uman Center, Ram On, Adirim, Dvora, Barak, Hever Center, Barak, Adirim, Dvora, Magen Shaul, Muqeible, Sandala, Gan Ner, Mevo’ot HaGilboa Industrial Zone, Salem, Zalafa, and the Salem base.

Water may be used for bathing and sanitation.

The Ministry of Health has instructed the water supplier to take steps to improve water quality and conduct water-quality testing.

This remains in effect until further notice.
