Jerusalem, 21 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Health Ministry said on Monday it delivered vital medical equipment and life-saving medicines to a hospital in Suweida, Syria, following reports of severe damage and urgent need. Security personnel transferred the trauma care supplies overnight and additional shipments are planned in the coming days.
On Saturday, Ministry Director General Moshe Bar Siman Tov met with Druze community leaders and medical staff to coordinate aid efforts. Bar Siman Tov emphasized Israel’s commitment to its Druze brothers and stated that this assistance reflects the health system’s values and longstanding alliance with the Druze community.
