Jerusalem, 23 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) thwarted an attempt to smuggle weapons from Syria to Lebanon.
As part of a nighttime operation that was completed last night (Wednesday), IDF forces from the 819th “Mountains” Brigade arrested a number of suspects who attempted to smuggle weapons from Syria to Lebanon in the Mount Hermon region in Syria.
“IDF forces continue to be deployed in the area in order to protect the security of the citizens of the State of Israel and the residents of the Golan Heights in particular,” said the IDF.
