Breaking News

Jerusalem, 6 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — There were 86,100 visitor arrivals to Israel in July 2025, compared with 110,200 in July 2024 and 294,800 in July 2023 – before the war in Gaza. There was a 22% decrease in the number of visitors from July 2024 largely due to the Rising Lion operation against Iran in June, which caused a large number of foreign air carriers to cancel service to Israel.

Of the total visitors to Israel in July 2025, 85,000 were classified as tourists.

January-July 2025

In January – July 2025, 707,900 visitor arrivals were recorded in Israel, down from 611,300 in the same period in 2024. Of these, 32.9% were from the United States, 12.3% from France, 7.9% from the United Kingdom, and 5.6% from Russia.

The data was provided by Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics.
