Jerusalem, 17 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Finance have agreed on a NIS 42 billion ($12.5 billion) budget supplement for 2025-2026 to address Israel’s urgent security needs. The agreement follows intensive talks led by the Prime Minister and National Security Council.

The plan includes strengthened oversight and preparation for a long-term reinforcement strategy starting in 2027.
