Jerusalem, 13 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — A high school student in Kafr Qara, central Israel, has been indicted for fatally stabbing a classmate on school grounds last month. Prosecutors said the 16-year-old, who had just joined the school, attacked Muhammad Marazqa after an argument, stabbing him twice in the chest. Authorities described the case as part of a worrying rise in violent incidents in schools across Arab communities.
“This deadly attack happened where children should feel safe,” said Anan Ghanem from the State Attorney’s Office.
