Jerusalem, 23 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli medical device startup Hairstetics is entering China’s rapidly growing hair restoration market through a €2 million ($2.3 million) licensing deal with Hong Kong-listed Cutia Therapeutics. The agreement gives Cutia exclusive rights to market Hairstetics’ minimally invasive synthetic hair implantation procedure — currently available in Israel and France — in China.

The CE-certified treatment implants 400–1,000 biocompatible hairs under local anesthesia in about 40 minutes, offering a solution for female hair loss, which affects nearly half of women by age 80.

Founded by Israeli entrepreneurs Boaz Shenhav and Dvir Keren, Hairstetics has raised $17 million with support from the Israeli Innovation Authority.
