Jerusalem, 28 october, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said it was decided that as of today (Tuesday) at 6:00 PM, IDF security restrictions imposed on the people in the areas near the Gaza Strip known as the “Gaza Envelope” will be lifted. The decision, it said, came following a situation assessment, and after approval was given by Defense Minister Israel Katz.
These security restrictions were lifted for the first time since the day of the massacre on October 7, 2023.
