Elbit Systems secures $1.6B European defense contract for advanced military equipment and technology, including drones and night-vision systems.

Jerusalem, 13 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Elbit Systems has won a $1.6 billion contract to provide a European country with advanced military equipment and technology over the next five years.

The deal includes long-range artillery, drones for surveillance and combat, and systems that detect communications, gather and process intelligence, and support electronic warfare. It also covers advanced night-vision and vehicle upgrade systems, as well as software and communication tools that help coordinate operations from top command down to individual units.

Elbit CEO Bezhalel Machlis said the deal underscores Europe’s demand for the company’s multi-domain technologies and includes industrial cooperation to boost the buyer’s local defense capabilities.
