Dozens of Gaza Terrorists Eliminated Including Senior Hamas Leaders

Jerusalem, 2 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — During the past month, dozens of terrorists who were working to carry out terror plots against israeli forces in the north and center of the Gaza Strip, including several senior Hamas members, were eliminated in a joint operation by IDF (Israel Defense Forces) and the Shin Bet (Israel’s anti-terror General Security Service).

As part of the operation, the terrorist Ahmed Abu Deif, who had served as deputy company commander in Hamas’ Zaytun Battalion since 2024, was eliminated. As part of his role, Abu Deif planned, directed, and carried out dozens of plots and ambushes against IDF forces, and also worked to recruit additional terrorists for the Hamas terrorist organization.

Also, the terrorist Taleb Sadiq Taleb Abu Atiwi, commander of Hamas’ Nukhba team that raided Israel on October 7, was eliminated.

In addition, Israel Air Force aircraft attacked and destroyed military structures in the Shuja’iyya and Zaytun areas, which served as a meeting place for Hamas and PLO terrorists to plan terrorist operations against IDF forces in the Gaza Strip.
