Jerusalem, 23 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli climate-tech company Airovation Technologies has won the 2025 Asper Prize for “Hebrew University Rising Startup,” along with a NIS 100,000 ($300,000) award. The prize, given by ASPER-HUJI Innovate and the Asper Foundation, honors startups based on Hebrew University research. Airovation impressed judges with its carbon capture technology for polluting industries like cement and hydrogen.

The competition drew 50 startups, with five finalists presenting to Hebrew University’s Board of Trustees. University President Prof. Asher Cohen praised the startups for transforming academic excellence into real-world impact.
