Jerusalem, 22 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — In order to “assist and maintain the continuity of production, strengthen industry, and meet supply targets for the security effort,” Israel’s Ministry of Economy and Industry set a new quota of 3,000 permits for skilled and unskilled foreign workers in the industrial sector.

The quota will be allocated in order of priority, so that the quota will first be allocated to industries that support the security effort, and only if there is a quota balance remaining after this distribution will it be distributed to the other industrial companies that submitted an application and were found eligible.
