$63 Million Allocated for Further Integration of Ethiopians in Israel

Jerusalem, 16 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli government approved the continued implementation of the national plan for the optimal integration of Israeli citizens of Ethiopian descent, as part of a broad government decision for the years 2025-2026, which was budgeted at approximately 215 million Shekels ($63 million).

As part of the plan, designated budgets will be allocated in the areas of education, health, employment, welfare, culture, and more.

“The current decision is aimed at continuing to accelerate the process of optimal integration of Israelis of Ethiopian descent by preserving achievements, striving for excellence, and addressing the gaps and challenges that still remain” said the Prime Minister’s Office.
