16 East Europeans Caught Trying to Sneak Into Israel on Flights

16 East Europeans, including Georgians and Uzbeks, caught trying to sneak into Israel at Ben Gurion Airport using fake passports.

Jerusalem, 15 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Population and Immigration Authority border controllers at Ben Gurion Airport today, Monday, located 16 passengers who attempted to enter Israel illegally.

The passengers, 14 Georgian citizens and 2 Uzbek citizens, mostly arrived on a flight from Sochi, except for one who arrived from Tbilisi.

Among the infiltrators were 9 men and 7 women.

Some of them attempted to infiltrate using fake Israeli passports.

Since the beginning of the month, 45 infiltrators have been caught.
