Jerusalem, 17 September, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The jerusalem police Department uncovered a network of fraud in which suspects allegedly helped candidates pass their driving exams in exchange for thousands of shekels and arrested 11 people allegedly involved in the fraud.
It is alleged that one of the suspects, an employee at a driving school, abused his position and arranged personal meetings with candidates for a driver’s license. During these meetings, he instructed them on how to pass the tests illegally, while providing them with sophisticated technological means to help them pass the tests in violation of the law.
Early Wednesday morning, police, raided the homes of suspects in the fraud, residents of Jerusalem, and the Judea and Samaria areas.
During the searches, technological means suspected of being used to commit the offenses were seized, along with cash totaling approximately 100,000 shekels and over $6,000.
