Terrorist Attempting to Stab IDF Soldier in Jenin Eliminated
IDF soldiers neutralized a terrorist armed with a knife who attempted to stab a soldier during an operation in Jenin, Samaria. No Israeli forces were injured.
Jerusalem, 21 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A terrorist armed with a knife approached Israeli troops operating in the Jenin area of the Menashe Regional Brigade in Samaria and attempted to stab one of the soldiers, the IDF Spokesperson reported early Friday morning.
The soldiers, who were engaged in an offensive operation, quickly and professionally responded to the immediate threat. The force opened accurate fire at the armed terrorist and neutralized him at the scene. According to the IDF Spokesperson, the terrorist was killed by the troops’ gunfire.
No Israeli forces were injured in the incident.
