As a result of the attack, the youth lost consciousness and the suspects believed he was dead. Upon receiving the information, intelligence and investigative elements of the Shin Bet and the West Bank Border Police acted to carry out advanced intelligence and investigative operations, during which the victim was located, the involved parties were identified, and six suspects were arrested. The investigation revealed that this was a serious security incident with characteristics of a lynching. At the end of the investigation and upon the formation of an evidentiary basis, an indictment was filed last weekend against three of the involved parties.
