Jerusalem, 26 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Fire and Rescue Service reported that one person was killed from a direct hit of Hezbollah rocket fire on the northern Israeli town Nahariya, located on the coast north of Haifa.

Three vehicles were completely burned up from the strike and the person was killed at the scene as a result of a direct hit on his vehicle.

Lieutenant Commander Shmulik Franco, deputy commander of the Zevulun Fire and Rescue station, reported from the field: “We quickly arrived at the scene of the incident with reinforced teams. Among other things, the teams worked to extinguish the vehicles that caught fire. At the same time, the teams conducted scans on several floors of the building to rule out any trapped people, including breaking open several doors that were locked and disconnecting gas and electricity energy sources. And additional complementary operations.”
