Jerusalem, 9 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said that, in a nighttime operation in the Mount Dov area in southern Lebanon, forces of its 210th Division arrested what the IDF described as a “senior terrorist” from the Jemaah Islamiyah terrorist organization.
Additionally, weapons were located in the building where the terrorist was arrested.
The Jemaah Islamiyah terrorist organization has been promoting and continues to attempt to promote terrorist activities against the State of Israel and its citizens in the northern sector throughout the war, said the IDF.
