Israeli Forces Arrest Palestinian Planning Terror Attacks

Israeli soldiers arrested a Tanzim operative in Beit Ur a-Tahta planning terror attacks in the Binyamin region, the IDF and Shin Bet announced.

Jerusalem, 5 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli soldiers arrested a Tanzim operative in the Palestinian village of Beit Ur a-Tahta during an overnight counterterror operation, the Israel Defense Forces and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) said.

Intelligence indicated the suspect intended to carry out terror attacks against Israelis in the Binyamin region.

The Tanzim Militia is a terror group affiliated with the Palestinian Authority’s ruling Fatah party.
