Jerusalem, 10 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli Military said Friday it has destroyed more than 200 rocket launchers belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization, including about 1,300 launch barrels, since the start of the current campaign against the group.

The IDF said the strikes were part of ongoing efforts to disrupt and degrade Hezbollah’s firing capabilities.

According to the military, Ali Kamel Abar al-Hassan, described as the artillery commander in Hezbollah’s Nasr Unit, was killed this week.

The IDF also said more than 250 Hezbollah artillery operatives have been killed, including 15 commanders responsible for artillery formations across different sectors.

The military said it would continue to operate forcefully against Hezbollah and would not allow harm to Israeli civilians, particularly residents of the north.
