In an operation by a Border Police reserve force, a vehicle was stopped for inspection, and during a search, an M16 rifle and ammunition were seized. In an abandoned vehicle, a box of stolen IDF ammunition and additional ammunition were found. During a weapons search in one of the neighborhoods, three handguns and ammunition were seized, and in another search, with the assistance of a K9 unit, another handgun was located. As part of the operation, eight suspects were arrested for further investigation on suspicion of possessing weapons.
