During the discussion, the commanders reviewed operational and intelligence activity throughout the country, and operational steps were examined to increase enforcement against crime organizations harming law-abiding citizens. The Commissioner instructed to increase pressure on crime organizations and operational and intelligence activity, including deploying special units even in places where they have not operated before. In addition, he ordered to increase activity on weekends and a widespread arrest operation against crime targets throughout the country. The Commissioner emphasized that all districts must act offensively, proactively, and continuously against crime organizations, while utilizing all operational, intelligence, and investigative capabilities, with the aim of damaging the crime infrastructure and the economic and operational capabilities of criminals, and strengthening the sense of security of Israeli citizens. “The war on crime, and especially on crime in Arab society, is a top national mission. We will act without compromise against crime organizations, we will continue to strike them mercilessly, and we will pursue them until justice is fully served.”
