Jerusalem, 28 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — A new center for promoting building permits for industry in the Eastern Galilee was inaugurated at the Kach junction. It is part of the government’s decision that led to a boost to accelerate the economy in the north to the tune of 610 million Shekels ($203 million).
The center, established by the Ministry of Economy and Industry, will operate on a “One Stop Shop” model. It will accompany industrialists and entrepreneurs with all planning, licensing and emergency bodies under one roof, from the planning stage to obtaining the building permit, with the aim of removing bureaucratic barriers, accelerating investments and boosting the regional economy.
It is expected to shorten the time it takes to issue industrial permits by about 50%, and reduces the time spent in the content control stages by more than 55%.
