National Eruv Mapping

Israel's Ministry of Religious Services and Survey of Israel launch a unified national eruv mapping project, granting councils editing permissions via govmap.

The Ministry of religious services, in cooperation with the Survey of Israel, is launching a unified national mapping project for eruvin. A Zoom training session will be held with professionals from the Survey of Israel.

Each council will receive editing permissions for the eruv lines within its jurisdiction.

Entities maintaining eruvin are requested to prepare a list of users and editors in their respective fields and to register on the government mapping website (govmap).

After registration, please update the Religious Structures Department with the contact person’s details, the chosen username, and the email used for registration. Do not forget to specify the name of the entity.
