The first Israel Police Resilience Center was inaugurated in Be’er Sheva – “Here, in the south, in the place where our officers stood as a solid wall, with their bodies and souls, and in every mission required of them, we are inaugurating the Israel Police Resilience Center,” said the Minister of National Security, MK Itamar Ben-Gvir, and the Police Commissioner, R.N.Z. Danny Levy, inaugurated last night in Be’er Sheva the first Israel Police Resilience Center, as part of a national plan to establish seven dedicated resilience centers for the organization’s officers throughout the country. The center was established under the leadership of Head of Manpower Directorate, Superintendent Alona Shoshan, out of recognition of the operational, mental, and personal burden placed on Israel Police officers since the October 7th attack, and even more so during the fighting and Operation “Lion’s Roar,” alongside the complex challenges officers also face in their daily routine.
