Education Minister Announces Winners of National Education Awards
Education Minister Yoav Kish announced the National Education Award winners for 2025-2026, honoring six authorities, 12 institutions, and 24 individuals.
Jerusalem, 20 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Education Minister Yoav Kish announced the winners of the National Education Awards for the 2025-2026 school year. The awards will be presented at a ceremony expected to be held on September 7.
Six authorities, 12 educational institutions, 12 principals, and 12 women and educators were selected to receive the award, which recognizes exceptional educational leadership, innovation, and excellence across the education system.
Winners were chosen in four categories: authorities, educational institutions, groundbreaking administrators, and outstanding women and educators. Selections reflected goals including promoting values and educational climate, learning achievements, innovation, resilience and leadership, community involvement, and human capital development.
The winning authorities were Nahariya, Tel Mond Local Council, Haifa, Ashdod, Merhavim Regional Council, and Givatayim.
