October 7 Hamas Terror Leader Hamza Sharabasi Eliminated
The IDF announced the elimination of Hamas commander Hamza Sharabasi, who participated in the October 7th attack on Nahal Oz Outpost, and Azzam al-Hayya.
Jerusalem, 13 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) revealed that, last week (Wednesday), the Israeli Air Force eliminated Hamza Sharabasi, a commander in Hamas’ Shejaiya Battalion in northern Gaza.
Sharabasi infiltrated Israeli territory during the brutal October 7th massacre and took part in the attack on the IDF’s Nahal Oz Outpost, during which IDF soldiers were killed and kidnapped.
Recently, Sharabasi operated near the Yellow Line and, as part of his role, was involved in advancing attacks against IDF troops operating in the area.
In the same strike, the IDF eliminated Azzam al-Hayya, a Hamas Nukhba terrorist who recently held a key role within the terrorist organization.
The Yellow Line marks the areas where Israeli Forces are continuing to operate under the Gaza ceasefire agreement: Israel controls everything to the east, north and south of the line and Hamas and other terrorists are prohibited from crossing it.
