Jerusalem, 14 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Defense Forces confirmed striking Hezbollah’s headquarters in Beirut’s Dahiyeh district on Sunday following drone attacks on Northern Israel.
“The headquarters that was attacked was used by terrorists of the terrorist organization Hezbollah to promote terrorist plots against the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon,” the IDF said.
Dahiyeh is a Shi’ite neighborhood where numerous Hezbollah command centers, financial sites, weapons workshops and other assets are or were located, including the underground bunker were the Iran-backed terror group’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah, was assassinated in 2024.
Earlier in the day, three Hezbollah drones struck northern Israel near the community of Shlomi.
