Israeli Military Assaults Hezbollah in Response to Rocket Attack on Israel
The Israeli military launched overnight strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon, responding to a rocket attack on the Shtula area.
Jerusalem, 24 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said it attacked overnight terrorist structures in the Khirbet Selm and Tulin areas In Southern Lebanon, which were used by Hezbollah to promote terrorist attacks against its forces and the State of Israel.
The attacks were enacted in response to the rocket launch carried out by Hezbollah towards the Shtula area in northern Israel last night, the IDF explained.
The IDF said it will “continue to act decisively against threats directed against the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF forces, and acts in accordance with the directives of the political echelon.”
