Jerusalem Police and emergency services are battling a building fire in Beit Hanina, rescuing trapped residents, with three hospitalized.
Firefighters are working to rescue trapped individuals, and simultaneously, dozens of residents are being evacuated from the scene. So far, four trapped individuals have been rescued from the building. Three of them were evacuated to the hospital, one in serious condition and two in moderate condition. Jerusalem District Police officers are working to secure the scene, regulate traffic, clear routes, and direct traffic. We call on the public to avoid coming to the scene, to obey the instructions of the police officers and emergency forces, and to allow the rescue forces to continue their operations without interruption.
