IDF forces are destroying a multi-level underground Hezbollah terror infrastructure at the Beaufort Ridge, built with Iranian funding, to secure northern.
Jerusalem, 7 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) Spokesperson, Brigadier General Effie Defrin, reported that in recent day, IDF forces have been operating to destroy a central underground Hezbollah infrastructure in the Beaufort Ridge area. This infrastructure includes an underground network consisting of several levels dug deep into the rocky soil. The entire network was built with full funding and planning by the Iranian terror regime, over more than a decade, he explained.
“Our goal has been and remains one – protecting the northern settlements, creating a new security reality, and deepening the damage to Hezbollah,” said Defrin. “The operation in the Beaufort Ridge, like other operations we have carried out, proves this. We will not stop, we will not pause, and we will not relent, until this goal is fully achieved.”
