Israeli Forces Eliminate Hamas Commander Bahaa Baroud in Gaza
Israeli forces in Gaza eliminated Hamas commander Bahaa Baroud, a key figure in planning terror plots against IDF forces and Israeli citizens.
Jerusalem, 17 May, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli forces in Gaza yesterday, Saturday, eliminated Bahaa Baroud, a commander in the operations headquarters of the Hamas terror organization.
Throughout the war, said the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), and “particularly in recent times,” Baroud operated to plan and advance numerous Hamas terror plots against IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip and the citizens of the State of Israel in the immediate time frame.
“Baroud posed an immediate threat to IDF forces and was eliminated in a precise aerial strike,” it explained.
