Hamas Communications Commander Killed In Gaza City Strike

Jerusalem, 16 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israel Defense Forces said on Thursday it eliminated Ahmed Abu Khdeira, a Hamas Communications Unit commander in Gaza City, in an airstrike.

According to the military, Abu Khdeira was advancing imminent plans to attack soldiers and posed a direct threat.

The IDF said precautions were taken to minimize civilian harm, including aerial surveillance and precise munitions.
