Jerusalem, 24 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli Ambassador to Colombia Vivian Aisen, along with Colombian Vice President José Manuel Restrepo Abondano and his wife, received an Israeli relief plane that landed in the Country Wednesday during an emotional ceremony.

The shipment, weighing approximately five tons, includes medical equipment to address emergency needs and arrived roughly a week after the initial deployment of a Foreign Ministry and IDF (Israel Defense Forces) Home Front Command search, rescue and humanitarian relief delegation to Colombia following a severe earthquake.
