Jerusalem, 5 July, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Following the Government’s approval of The National AI Program, the first consultation meeting of the AI Headquarters with representatives from the high-tech industry was held today (Sunday).
The National Program includes, among other things, the establishment of the National AI Institute, making advanced computing infrastructure accessible, and promoting AI solutions that will address the daily challenges of the state, the economy, and the industry.
During the meeting, which was attended by 11 leading high-tech companies in the economy, the companies emphasized the importance of the joint forum continuing in the future and serving as a voice for the high-tech industry vis-à-vis the Headquarters. In addition, the operational concept of the National Headquarters was presented, which seeks to make Israel a country that connects AI capabilities with real-world challenges. As part of this, the National Institute is expected to promote solutions across all layers of the technology stack, including cybersecurity, Physical AI, computing infrastructure, 360-degree protected systems, and advanced applications that bridge the gap between the world of computers and life itself.
