Jerusalem, 30 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s education system ended the school year today, the last day of June, but continues to operate during the summer vacation through a wide variety of educational, curricular, social and ethical frameworks for Israeli students, with a total investment of approximately one billion Shekels ($330 million) as part of the national summer program.
This summer, 1,121,594 students will participate in the program in a variety of settings throughout the country.
The program is based on the principles of choice, flexibility and affordability, and makes available to students, families and authorities a wide range of responses tailored to different needs, so that each student can choose the framework that suits them.
