Jerusalem, 24 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Israeli Agency COGAT (Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories: Judea and Samaria and towards the Gaza Strip) is working in close cooperation with its international partners and the private sector to address on-the-ground sanitation challenges and prevent the spread of disease in Gaza.

To that end, since the Start of the Ceasefire, 200 tons of pesticides and pest traps have entered Gaza.

“By proactively seeking out items that cannot be considered dual-use,” said COGAT it, “ensures these items will reach civilians and enhance their quality of life.”
