We can only carry out our missions with humility and a pursuit of victory in every engagement.

Col. Yishai Rozilio assumed command of the Multidimensional Unit. For the past six months, Lt. Col. A’ served as the acting commander of the Multidimensional Unit.

The change of command ceremony was held yesterday (Tuesday) at Tel Nof base, headed by the Commander of the Ground Forces, Maj. Gen. Nadav Lotan, the Chief of Armored Corps, Brig. Gen. Ohad Maor, other commanders and soldiers, families, and additional guests.

“The Multidimensional Unit is on the verge of another significant stage in its development,” stated the Commander of the Ground Forces, Maj. Gen. Nadav Lotan. “It will lead the operational response in the close-to-ground air domain and will be the pioneer in leading the defense concept for the maneuvering force – a combination of defense and attack capabilities. This is the direction the Ground Army is moving towards, and the Multidimensional Unit will lead the way.”

“In the last five months, you fought in Lebanon as a professional, skilled force with rich operational experience,” he continued. “I learned that the unit’s greatest strength is not only in its technology, combat methods, or operational capabilities, but primarily in its people – in the human quality, in the commanders and fighters who build this unit every day.”

“In the coming months, under Rozilio’s leadership, you will continue to learn, debrief, and draw lessons from operational activities. From the experience gained, you will continue to change, strengthen, and adapt yourselves to the evolving battlefield challenges.”

“Last January, the Armored Corps had the great privilege of taking command of the Multidimensional Unit,” added the Chief of Armored Corps, Brig. Gen. Ohad Maor. “Since that moment, we have been working together in deep partnership, in learning, innovation, and reciprocity. We found true partners in the unit – a lethal and multi-branch force, an integral part of the force required to defeat the enemy.”

“When a commander leads from the front, he tells his subordinates ‘follow me’ not only in words, but in actions and personal example that inspire confidence.”

“Rozilio, as you assume command, the torch now passes to you,” he stated. “I have no doubt that the experience, values, and spirit you bring with you will continue this glorious chain of command. Be the leader who marches at the front, the leader, the connector, and the victor, and continue to lead the unit forward on the same value-driven and victorious path that your predecessors have set.”

“To the unit’s personnel present here, and to our fighters currently on the front lines in Lebanon – much work lies before us in building and operating the force,” said the incoming commander of the Multidimensional Unit, Col. Yishai Rozilio. “We will be able to carry out our missions and influence the entire IDF only through humility, professionalism in all our actions, striving for victory in every encounter and engagement with the enemy, fostering values of initiative and creativity, and creating partnerships among all parties.”

“We will only be able to progress and learn through incisive debriefings, which sanctify integrity and truth as the basis for all our work,” he stated. “I wish to thank the Commander of the Ground Forces, Maj. Gen. Nadav Lotan, and the Chief of Armored Corps, Brig. Gen. Ohad Maor, for their trust and for choosing me for this role. I promise to do everything in my power to be worthy of the mission and the people.”
