The Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, visited Division 210 today (Friday) along with the Commander of the Northern Command, Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo, Commander of Division 210, Brig. Gen. Yair Palai, Commander of Division 91, Brig. Gen. Yuval Gaz, and additional commanders.

As part of his visit, the Chief of Staff held a situation assessment at a forward observation post in Mount Dov, in Lebanese territory overlooking the Iyyon Valley and the commanding ridges to the north and west in southern Lebanon, together with the commanders in the field. The Chief of Staff observed the fire operations of our forces in the area.

The Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, said: “You are doing exceptional work here in the face of complex challenges. The command is operating with creativity, initiative, and responsibility, including maneuvering into new areas, and continues to push the enemy, destroy its capabilities, and systematically strike it. There is cumulative and unprecedented damage to Hezbollah – from thousands of terrorists to senior and mid-level commanders.”

“There is no place that will serve as a fortress for Hezbollah, and no place where it will have immunity. The yellow line does not limit us – wherever we identify a threat and wherever we need to neutralize a threat, we will act. Wherever there is an operational need to maneuver, we will maneuver. Any strike against Hezbollah is also a strike against the Iranian axis and Iran’s investment in the region. We are prepared for any development and are at a high level of readiness, including against Iran.”

“All of the IDF’s resources are invested in the Northern Command, and our best forces are operating here daily. We will continue to exercise our operational freedom of action wherever we are required to neutralize a threat, and we will not hesitate,” the Chief of Staff continued.

“Our goal is clear – to deepen the damage to Hezbollah, to distance the threat, and to strengthen the defense of the northern communities. This is the central objective that guides us in every operation and every decision. Even at these moments, our forces are advancing and operating. Every additional achievement on the ground strengthens the residents’ security and helps create better conditions for improved security arrangements from a position of strength.”

“The cumulative damage to Hezbollah is severe and unprecedented, with over 7,500 terrorists eliminated since the beginning of the war, 2,500 of them since the start of Operation ‘Lion’s Roar’. We will continue to strike the enemy and deepen our achievements.”

“The drone threat is a challenge, but we will overcome it. The battlefield is not sterile and never will be, but we are investing the IDF’s best resources, minds, and capabilities in this. Operational and technological solutions are already in the stages of development and implementation, and we will continue to bring them to the battlefield quickly. Alongside this, we will continue to pursue the launch cells, their operators, and their commanders at all levels and wherever they operate – from the tactical level on the ground to the highest echelons. Wherever we detect a threat – we will strike it.”

“The month of June is a month dedicated to honoring reservists – I am full of appreciation for you. I am aware of the burden, the difficulty, and the price that you and your families are paying. We are working to increase the force buildup and adapt the required response for the IDF.”
