The forces of the “Evil Alliance” delegation are operating at several key destruction sites in Cali, in cooperation with local rescue teams and volunteers from the area, to locate and rescue missing persons. Since the start of operations, the forces have located a significant number of missing persons at the destruction sites, thereby assisting the authorities and families in their efforts to find their loved ones.
Concurrently, the effort to map and classify buildings damaged by the earthquake continues, led by the delegation’s engineers and in cooperation with Colombian teams and other international teams, with the aim of assessing which buildings can be returned to use and which require further treatment.
As part of the assistance to local authorities, the delegation is providing Colombia with knowledge and technological tools for managing the situation and data, for setting priorities, and for supporting decision-making processes.
