The weapons were intended to harm IDF forces operating in the area of the “Yellow Line” and Israeli civilians, and were destroyed to remove the threat. After the infrastructure attacks, secondary explosions were identified, indicating the presence of weapons within the infrastructure. The Hamas terror organization continues to systematically and flagrantly violate the ceasefire agreement, while attempting to rebuild the organization’s strength and its military infrastructure. IDF forces under the command of the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any threat.
