In another incident, forces from the Commando Brigade Combat Team operating in the Ali Taher ridge identified an armed terrorist from the Hezbollah terrorist organization who posed a threat to our forces operating in the security zone. Immediately after identification, the Air Force attacked, and the forces on the ground fired at the terrorists, neutralizing them to remove the threat. IDF forces are operating in the Ali Taher ridge area and are not allowing terrorists from the organization to emerge from underground infrastructure or move in the ridge area. The IDF will not allow the Hezbollah terrorist organization to harm Israeli civilians and its forces and will continue to operate to neutralize immediate threats.
