Herzog Visits Kazakhstan AI Center, Highlights Tech Cooperation

Jerusalem, 28 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — President Isaac Herzog visited Kazakhstan’s International Center for artificial intelligence on Tuesday, highlighting growing technological ties between Israel and Kazakhstan.
Hosted by Deputy Prime Minister and Digital Minister Zhaslan Madyev, Herzog toured startup exhibits and praised local innovation. He later joined a roundtable with government officials before meeting President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Herzog said artificial intelligence represents a “great revolution” shaping the future and stressed the importance of ethical development and bilateral cooperation.
Earlier, Herzog visited Kazakhstan’s National Museum, noting the country’s cultural heritage.
