Jerusalem, 10 February, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Three examinees were detained by police on suspicion of cheating during the Israeli Health Ministry government medical certification exams in Tel Aviv, the ministry said on Tuesday.

Ministry investigators said the suspects allegedly used hidden filming and listening devices to obtain exam information in real time during the Monday’s exams. The case has been referred to the Israel Police, and a disciplinary investigation has been opened. The ministry stressed that maintaining the integrity of certification exams is a top national priority, essential for training ethical and competent medical professionals.
